In Herotopia you are taken to a world full of superheroes, and supervillains called the Bully Bunch. It is your job to keep order and to try and rescue the brave Smighties from the north pole. Along the way you can make friends and play some fun games.
You begin the game by choosing your name and the look of your superhero, from there you are transported to New York. There are lots of different things for you to be able to do and you are able to travel almost anywhere in the world by flying there.
Each place you land has at least 2 mini games to play, these vary from rescuing other heroes to snowball fights with the Bully Bunch. Each game will reward you with Topia Tokens. The higher your score in the game the more tokens you can win.
Topia Tokens are spent on new items for your hideout, or costumes for your hero. There are lots of items that you can put into your secret hideout, but some of them are for members only. Membership will give you the ability to have more Smighties and access to every place and item, but there is a monthly fee for your membership.
Smighties are cute little pets that you can rescue from the north pole. Each day you can fish up an ice cube and send it to your special melting machine, after 12 hours you will see if you have rescued a Smightie. When you do they then have a special garden to play in where you can visit them.
There is also a card game that you can play using the special Smighties trading cards. You begin play with some and you can swap cards with other players in the game. There is also the option to buy cards for Topia Tokens.
There are also lots of missions that you can do each day, there is a missions button on the right side of your screen, and if you follow the clues you can complete them and earn Topia Tokens and experience to help you level.
When you are in your secret hideout you can also play some puzzle games, under the puzzle powers button there are daily puzzles for Topia Tokens and a series of other puzzles you can do for fun. Many of them are also educational at the same time such as fun crosswords or number games.
Although Herotopia is aimed at a younger audience there is something for everyone here. There are lots of different games to play all over the world, and the daily missions are fun to play through. The card game is also a really nice addition to a browser game.
The graphics are nice for this style of game though sometimes the mini games can take a long time to load up. The lack of items for non members is also a little disappointing but much of the rest of the game can be played fully for free.
Overall there is lots of fun to be had in Herotopia and there are new games and puzzles being added all the time to keep the game interesting. If you are looking for a relaxed fun game then Herotopia is perfect for you. Herotopia Summary
