When you first join the world of Ook you can choose your character, name and look. From there you begin to explore the town of Clock Tower Square and you will be given a few things for free. As you move around you will see that some of the other monkeys have quests for you.
When you play a quest and finish it you will receive bananas and some experience, your experience counts towards your level, and the higher your level the more items you can have and the more cool skills you can use.
You can choose to be a Pirate, Ninja, Wizard or Viking and they each have special skills and powers. Many of the quests will show you how to play your role and they will have fun games to play before you explore the world.
As you play you will be able to group with your friends or hang around and make new ones. Joining a group is easy to do and you can adventure together. As you adventure you will find new items to wear and maybe some magical special items too.
There is a clothes store where you can change what you look like, and there are also pets that you can buy, they will follow you around and help you fight the bad guys too. There are also lots of other shops that sell food and useful items.
There are 2 types of money to spend in the game, bananas and NickCash. Bananas are earned by completing quests and playing the mini games. They are also on the bad guys that you beat up too, so they are easy to get. NickCash is a separate currency that will give you access to more items, but it can only be bought for real money.
As well as the currencies you can also choose to become a member of Monkey Quest. Becoming a member will give you access to more parts of the game, and lots of free things that you can only get when you have a membership. These cost real money are for a set amount of time from 1,3 and 12 months.
There are some really cute graphics in the game, with a really fun styling and exciting movements. The controls are easy to use and master especially as the game is more of a platform style rather than first or third person.
There are some really nice touches in Monkey Quest even though it is aimed at a younger audience there is plenty of fun for the adults too. With a very safe environment and good parental information Monkey Quest is a great place for everyone in the family to play. Monkey Quest Resumo
