In the Facebook game, Zombie Island, developed by Vizor Interactive, players are allowed the once-in-a-lifetime chance to live the life of a zombie and to literally, walk, chop, plant, harvest in a zombie’s “shoes”. The main goal of the game is for the players to develop and raise an island to its greatness, from scratch and with the help of the zombies, and to find a cure for the zombies to make them human once more.
As the game begins, players are immediately faced with the zombie’s main dilemma: to find the quickest and fastest route to be human again. The players shall assume the role of the zombie island leader who shall head this daunting mission to cure them of the afflicting disease of zombiehood. A quick and easy way to get a headstart in the game is instantly shown by directing where and how to begin plotting the land, planting some seeds, and then harvesting them as well.
Getting to learn the ropes is fairly easy as hovering over some items shall quickly show what actions can be done. For example, hovering over a few piles of stones will reveal a short tip that these stones may be collected and stored in the main storage area as part of the many resources that are available to gather. Some of the common actions that are available are storing materials and resources, mining stones, and chopping wood. In order to maximize each gameplay, players may queue the actions that they may want to perform by clicking the items in the order they desire.
Being a management and simulation game, players are presented with a set of goals to meet but with matching rewards, of course. Gamers have the chance to skip having to go through the whole process of the quest by spending some coins.
