Build your aircraft fleet and send them all around the world.
Grow your airport from scratch and turn into a commercial hub of air travel.
Use your management skills in overseeing the day-to-day activities in the airport.
Anyone who has ever dreamed of owning an airport and coordinating its day-to-day activities will certainly feel right at home with Big Point’s airport management game, Skyrama.
In here, you will play the role of an airport manager who starts with a small airfield but has to grow it from scratch.
In the beginning, you might feel a little bit limited with the resources that you have. You can purchase at most 3 small aircraft at the start and, with only one runway to operate from, you can find the pace of the game a bit slow. However, that is only during the start. Once you have your aircraft fleet growing at a steady pace and your aircraft now home to various runways, the flights will start coming in at a pace that will keep you busy as long as you are logged in to your account.
Skyrama also features Goals, which are basically just Quests that you can accomplish if you want to earn some extra coins to purchase structures for your airport or additional aircraft for your fleet. These quests can be quite challenging – at the start, you will be asked to send 10 aircraft to South America. Basically, you will be sending your planes to the airports of 10 users based in any South American country.
However, you have only three aircraft to play with. That is not a problem, because each flight takes only five minutes to make a turnaround and return to your airport. The quest can be achieved in barely an hour after you buy your third aircraft and, by the time, you are done, you could be able to purchase more airplanes for your fleet.
Each flight, of course, will have rewards for you. These rewards can be Coins for your bankroll, or some items that you could find to be ideal additions to your airport facilities.
While you wait for your outbound aircraft to return, you could keep busy by checking your Incoming Flights. These flights are airplanes sent by your buddies to your airport, which you can then service for extra Coins. Once you have your Control Tower set up, you could also request for aircraft visits to your airport.
In any case, you have a Cash Cow aircraft that’s always ready to land at your airport every five minutes. The name is very apt, because frequently servicing the Cash Cow aircraft can help you stack up on those coins, and thus have in-game cash with which to upgrade the facilities and capabilities of your very own airport.
Finally, you get to enjoy an excellent repertoire of music from the game’s soundtrack while you play. Much can be said for the graphics, but resource management games like Skyrama don’t actually need memory-consuming image details anyway.
For those who are curious about how an airport works or those who want to fulfill a life-long fantasy of being an airport manager, Skyrama is the game for them to play. It’s free! Skyrama Summary
