Idle Theme Park Tycoon is, as its name suggests, an idle simulation of what it is like to be the manager of a theme park. In this game, you play as the new manager who has just flown in after being hired by an investor called Johnson to manage a newly built theme park. Go through the basics with the old chap and slowly make enough profit to equip the theme park with more rides and attractions.
Ultimately, you will want to expand your theme park empire to other islands as well. But first of all, you will have to make this one a booming success. Keep an eye out for visitors to the park, as they will begin to occupy the parking spaces in the Parking lot. To increase the number of visitors to the park, you will have to constantly add more parking spaces to accommodate more incoming visitors’ cars.
Having a bigger car park is not going to mean anything, as it is going to take more than one attraction to bring in a lot of visitors to your theme park. That being said, setting up new attractions do cost a lot of money, and it is probably wise to focus on upgrading your current attractions first before setting your sights on new ones.
There are a bunch of attractions and rides that you can build, however, you will only get to work with the Shooting Gallery for starters. Attractions can be upgraded, in the case of the Shooting Gallery, you can upgrade things such as improving the quality to increase the price of tickets, expanding the queue to allow more people to wait in line, and adding more seats to open up space for more people to enjoy the attraction at the same time.
When visitors start to stream in by the dozens, it is time for you to upgrade your Entry booth to facilitate the entrance process into the theme park. Be sure to build additional park entry booths to greatly increase the number of visitors that can queue for tickets, and you can also constantly upgrade the entry process to reduce the time spent to sell an entry ticket. Shorter waiting time means more visitors get to enter and enjoy the theme park, which then results in higher revenue!
For those who do not mind spending some spare cash, you can use real-world money to hire a general manager for your theme park, who will keep the park open even while you are not playing to accumulate income up to 10 hours. You can also head on over to the in-game shop to purchase tokens which can be used for various upgrades in the game, or to take a chance at the vending machines for collectibles that have special effects for a particular section of the park, such as increasing profit for the shooting gallery, and so on.
