You begin your adventure on a walk through the country when you encounter a circle of mushrooms, this transports you to a room you have never seen you are met by a strange fox lady who simply throws you in prison. From there you start to see strange things and places and meet even stranger creatures.
To move around you are able to move around with the mouse and choose conversation points with all of the characters you meet. This 2D simulation is drawn in a beautiful way and the characters match the setting perfectly. Your conversations and choices decide the future for you and this gives you a fun element of control over the world.
The story is divided into episodes and as you complete each of them you will be given portraits and artwork from the section you finish. These are added to your gallery and you can view them whenever you want. You can also choose to have a crush on a certain character, this will then enable you to get special images for that particular man.
There are also shops where you can buy new clothes and pets, which you can change at any time, there are even new backgrounds for you to buy as well. Once you have them they will be in your inventory forever.
There are 2 currencies in the game, Maana and Coins, these can be earned from completing the story and they are used to buy all of the things you need in the game. There is also the option to buy them for real money if you wish to do so.
While you can’t talk directly to the other players in the game there is a very nice forum set where you can get to meet the other players and share stories both in and out of the game. There is also a lot of other fan work and art dedicated to the world.
Eldarya is a fun place to be, though the story is aimed at a more female audience, especially as there is only 1 character and she can only have crushes on the male characters there is still a lot of fun to be found. There are new episodes being launched all the time and they develop the story in a really nice way.
