Of course Faketown wouldn’t be a true virtual world game if it didn’t come with its fair share of features but, as it turns out, the game is quite impressive when it comes to the social side of things. Players are actually allowed to visit the homes of other players and interact with them in various ways. There’s absolutely no restriction to where you can go so you can visit anyone you want to, even if you don’t actually know them, and socialize with them. There’s also an in-game chat window through which you can talk to other players directly.
Faketown is a delight to play but it’s worth mentioning that it might not be for everyone when it comes to visuals. The game uses an art style that highly resembles 8-bit games of the past and, while some might like it due to the feeling of nostalgia, it probably isn’t for everyone. However, if the 8 bit style doesn’t bother you, you’re in for a great experience.
