Welcome to Neopets, a wonderful land full of cute pets, adventures and lots of games to play. With a huge choice of creatures for you to adopt, shops full of fun items for your pet and your Neohome.
When you first go to create your account you can choose your pet from a large list available. You will also be able to choose their colour and give them a name. From there you are able to begin traveling the world, feeding and playing with your pet or enjoying the games.
There is also a tutorial that you can watch to learn the basics of how to play the game, buy items and equip them on your pet. There are many different shops that you can look in, both for your pet and your home.
There are also lots of games that you can play, of all types from puzzle games to action games. These can be found all over the world, either by visiting a certain area or going to the games page, that has a list of all the games.
When you play you will also earn points, these points are converted into neopoints which you use to buy items. Each game will reward you with neopoints and there are also scoreboards so you can see how well you are doing.
As well as neopoints there are neocash, which you can spend on premium and special items. Neocash is only available for real money, though you do begin the game with 150 to spend. You can also purchase a premium membership that has several rewards for a monthly fee.
Your pet also has levels, which will increase as they explore the world, play games and complete training in each of the cities. The higher level your pet the more adventures you can go on. Each place in the world will have some thing you can do besides games.
The graphics for Neopets are reasonably simple, and yet very cute. The game is played through the browser using lots of navigation menus. Unfortunately there are also adds on the pages, but they can be removed with a premium membership.
